What we store

When you create a project, we store the photos, videos, music and logo files you choose to upload, along with your arrangement, titles, timing, notes and version history. We also store technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as upload size and file type.

If you request a download-ready email, we store that address with the render until the render or project is deleted. We send it to our email provider only to deliver the notification. The email contains a private, download-only link that expires seven days after the render request. It does not provide editing access or subscribe you to marketing.

Private project access

Each project has a long, secret editing link. Anyone with that complete link can open and change the project, so treat it like a password and share it only with people you trust. During checkout, the current tab temporarily remembers that private link so it can return you to the same project. EverMontage does not require a public profile.

AI assistance

AI features are optional. When you explicitly enable them, EverMontage may send reduced image previews, filenames, categories and limited project context to OpenAI to suggest organization, titles or music. Original full-resolution files are not sent for photo sorting. Do not upload identity documents, medical records or other material that does not belong in the montage.

Google imports

If you connect Google Photos or Google Drive, EverMontage receives access only through Google’s permission flow. We access the selected files’ names, types, sizes and media contents only so we can copy those specific items into your private montage project. We do not scan the rest of your library, receive your Google password or use Google data for advertising.

Short-lived Google access tokens remain in your browser memory only while the import is running and are not saved in your project. The selected copies remain in EverMontage storage until you delete the project. Infrastructure providers process those copies only as needed to store, display and render your montage.

If you separately choose the optional AI sorting feature, a reduced preview of each selected item and its filename may be sent to OpenAI solely to suggest a section for that item in your project. Full-size originals are not sent for sorting. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default, and EverMontage does not opt this project into model-training data sharing.

EverMontage’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or use it to train or improve a generalized AI or machine-learning model.

Payments and service providers

Payments are processed by Stripe; EverMontage does not store your full card number. We use infrastructure providers to store files, run the website, create AI suggestions and render exports. They may process information only as needed to provide those services.

Retention and deletion

Your project remains available until it is deleted. The private project editor includes a permanent delete control that removes the project, uploaded media, soundtrack, notes and rendered files. Older rendered downloads may be replaced as new exports are created; download a copy of any finished MP4 you want to keep. Restoring a saved edit does not recover a file you have deleted or an original you have replaced. Operational backups may take a short period to expire from provider systems.

Children and family media

Montages often contain children. The person creating a project is responsible for having permission to upload and share every file. EverMontage is not intended for children to create accounts or projects on their own.

Messages and enquiries

If you ask us to email your private project link, we send your email address and that link to our email delivery provider, Resend. This is an access email, not a marketing subscription. Keep it private: anyone with the complete link can view and edit the project.

If you use the website contact form, we collect your name, email address, message and the occasion page you were viewing so we can reply. We do not sell this information or add you to a marketing list without permission.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to our public website pages. We do not load the Google Analytics tag before you accept analytics. Declining does not limit your use of EverMontage. You can reopen Analytics choices on any public page to change your decision.

When enabled, Analytics receives the public page name and clean page address, the referring website’s origin when available, and technical information such as browser, device and approximate location. Google receives connection information, including your IP address, when your browser communicates with its service. We do not send private project addresses, URL query strings, uploaded media, names, email addresses, messages or payment details. The editor, project creation, staff and API pages are excluded. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization are disabled in this integration. If you submit our website enquiry form with analytics enabled, we also record that the submission succeeded, without sending your name, email address or message to Analytics. Opening chat or clicking an email link is not counted as a submitted enquiry.

We remember your analytics choice in this browser for up to 180 days. If you accept, first-party Analytics cookies identify your browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops collection, removes this integration’s Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag. It does not erase data previously sent to Google. Analytics is separate from the chat and payment services you choose to use.
